Whizman Software Solutions is the software services business of Randall Whitman, software developer and computer consultant. Randall has over a decade of experience in software development, over a decade of experience with open source software, and nearly a decade of experience using Linux.
Prior to founding Whizman, Randall developed software at the MIT Media Lab, Oracle Corporation, and DonorWare LLC.
At the MIT Media Lab, Randall developed software for the pioneering personalized news website called fishWrap. At Oracle Corporation, Randall developed and enhanced core libraries used in all Oracle products.
Randall substantially upgraded DonorWare's product line as the lead developer on projects to introduce a new child sponsorship data management system, and to upgrade DonorWare's entire core product for compatibility with the Linux operating system and the MySQL database.
Recognizing the great value of Free and Open Source software, and its vast potential for small businesses and home users, Randall founded Whizman Software Solutions (originally Whizman Computer Consulting), at the beginning of year 2004. Through Whizman, Randall offers software solutions as a software consultant, while continuing to develop software on contract basis.
Whizman strives to satisfy clients by providing service, technology, and value.
